Holiday mornings on the East Ridge

December mornings on the ridge are cold enough for a long black and a jacket on the chair.

We open at seven on weekdays, earlier in spirit on the holidays. The first pours are for people who drove up before the traffic remembered itself.

Breakfast is not a buffet of nowhere. Rizal eggs. Rice from a named sack. Bread that still has a name. Tablea if the morning wants chocolate.

Stay the night if you can. The holiday is better when you do not descend and climb again.

Reserve the morning table with the stay. The deck fills when the light does.
